Features To Look Out For On A New Car

Cars are all built differently, and each of them have different features, so it’s important make sure the car you chose has the features you want before you put down the money for it.

Manual Transmission

Fewer people are driving cars with manual transmission, opting for the easier to use automatic option. But automatic is not necessarily the best choice. Driving a car that is a manual can help improve gas consumption. The savings in gas can be anywhere from around two to five miles per gallon over the same model car that uses an automatic.

Some people prefer the more tactile feel of a manual transmission too and arguably it offers a more fun experience on the road. If you are looking for that kind of thing.

Engine Size

An important feature of all cars is the size of the engine. Not only does it determine how fast the car can go, but it can also define how the car feels on the road.  A smaller the engine means the car will have less power and will not move as responsively. However, if the driver is going to be using the car for typical driving and power is not a necessity, going with the smaller engine will provide a larger savings in gas.
